Dark Shadows Box Office Update: Over $227 Million Worldwide

The Dark Shadows movie continues to make money internationally, earning another $4.2 million over the weekend. This brings the cumulative worldwide box office earnings total to $227.5 million ($75.9 million in the United States).

The original DARK SHADOWS series ran from 1966 to 1971 on ABC.

Dark Shadows Box Office Update: Over $218 Million Worldwide

The Dark Shadows movie continues to make money internationally, another $6.9 million over the weekend. This brings the cumulative worldwide box office earnings total to $218.5 million ($75.5 million in the United States).

The original afternoon soap debuted on ABC 46 years ago today.

Dark Shadows Earns $7.5M & 6th Place At The U.S. Weekend Box Office; Total Gross $63M U.S., $170M Worldwide

Dark Shadows came in 6th at the box office this weekend in the United States with an estimated $7.5 million take for May 25-27, 2012.   Men in Black 3, featuring AS THE WORLD TURNS star Trent Dawson, landed in first place.

Dark Shadows earned $20.6M total worldwide over the weekend bringing its worldwide total to $169.6M.

Dark Shadows Earns $12.8M & Fourth Place At The U.S. Weekend Box Office; Total Gross Passes $50M U.S., $132M Worldwide

Dark Shadows came in fourth at the box office this weekend in the United States with an estimated $12.77 million take for May 18-20, 2012.   Marvel's The Avengers, promoted on GENERAL HOSPITAL in early May, remained a juggernaut grossing another $55M.

Dark Shadows earned an additional $30M outside the U.S. over the weekend bringing its worldwide total to $132.2M.

Battleship, The Dictator, and What to Expect When You're Expecting debuted in the Top 5 this week.
