1957: On The Edge of Night, Mary (Anne Sargent) begged Clayton (Leon Janney) to tell her where to find Billy.

1975: CBS aired the final episode of primetime soap opera Beacon Hill, an adaptation of the British series Upstairs, Downstairs. The story revolved around a wealthy family and their servants in 1920s Boston. Beacon Hill debuted with a large audience but quickly lost viewers and aired only 13 episodes. The New York Times wrote a story about the show ("The Making of a Lemon") and called it "an Edsel for 1975."

Sarah Brown, Martha Madison, Patrika Darbo and More Added to 6th Annual Indie Series Awards Presenters List

Three-time Emmy winner Sarah Brown is nominated at this year's ISAs.
Additional presenters were announced today for the upcoming 6th Annual Indie Series Awards (ISA6).

Presenters during the April 1st ceremony will include Ryan Bartley (L.A. Macabre), Sarah Brown (Beacon Hill), Richard Cutting (Milgram and the Fastwalkers, DeVanity), Patrika Darbo (The Bay), Mike Donis (Pete Winning and the Pirates), Megan Duffy (Dating Pains), Burt Grinstead (Burt Paxton), Richard Hatch (Pairings), Martha Madison (Winterthorne, The Bay), Susan Louise O'Connor (Wallflowers) and Alexandra Paul (Mentor).

They join previously announced presenters Anthony Anderson (Anacostia), Jillian Clare (Acting Dead), Ashli Dowling (We Are Angels), Andrea Evans (DeVanity), Lilly Melgar (The Bay), Mhairi Morrison (Feathers and Toast), Becky Kramer (Jewvangelist), Jen Lilley (Youthful Daze), Minae Noji (Love Midori), Alisha Spielmann (Producing Juliet), Jason Stuart (Mentor), Corsica Wilson (L.A. Macabre) and Colleen Zenk (Thurston).

Additional presenters will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 6th Annual Indie Series Awards ceremony, hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Eric Martsolf (Days of our Lives), will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

1957: On The Edge of Night, Mary (Anne Sargent) begged Clayton (Leon Janney) to tell her where to find Billy.

On the latest episode of We Love Soaps TV (5.16), Roger Newcomb traveled to the set of an east cost photo shoot for upcoming web series Beacon Hill, a Open Book Productions and Bella Books political drama premiering on March 5.

Watch our new episode below as we speak with former Days of our Lives and Santa Barbara star Louise Sorel, who plays Emily Tanner in Beacon Hill. Sorel shares her experiences from the set of her first web series, and talks about working with Tina Sloan and executive producer Crystal Chappell.

Watch our new episode below as we speak with former GUIDING LIGHT star Ron Raines, who plays "Senator William Preston" in BEACON HILL. Raines talks about his new character, working on an Indie project, and playing powerful men on stage and TV so often. His most recent role was in Broadway's "Annie," where he played Daddy Warbucks.
