Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery premieres Saturday, May 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The mouthwatering new mystery stars Daytime Emmy nominated actress and TV host Alison Sweeney (Days of our Lives, The Biggest Loser), alongside Daytime Emmy nominated star Cameron Mathison (All My Children) and Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove darling Barbara Niven.

The film centers on free spirit Hannah Swensen, an expert baker who becomes a culinary detective when her shop, the Cookie Jar, becomes the scene of a crime, just as she is caught in a romantic mystery of her own.

Hallmark Channel announces Barbara Niven (ex-Liz, ONE LIFE TO LIVE; ex-Brenda, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL) has been cast as a series regular in Hallmark Channel’s primetime series, DEBBIE MACOMBER'S CEDAR COVE. The two-hour drama is set to premiere Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with Niven joining the cast regularly as Peggy Beldon, wife of Bob Beldon, played by Bruce Boxleitner (TRON, BABYLON 5, SCARECROW AND MRS.
