Steffy and Ivy are horrified to realize Aly is dead.
Daytime TV's best soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, has hit another home run, with the surprising death of Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce), during a confrontation with her cousin Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
With the voice of her late mother, Darla, taking over Aly's thoughts, the young Forrester became more and more unbalanced in recent weeks, leading to eventually nearly hitting Steffy with her car. During a confrontation on the side of the road, Aly seems to calm down for a moment then picks up a tire iron and starts swinging. She then picks up a rock and is about to kill Steffy, when Steffy grabs the nearby tire iron and trips Aly, causing her to fall and hit her head. Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) arrives and witnesses Steffy's take down of Aly, but not the earlier confrontation. Paramedics arrive and declare Aly dead.

ABC Viewers Tilt Female for a Network Light on Sports
About 62 percent of the ABC audience is female. (CBS is the next most female-skewed at 57 percent.) More strikingly, the top five most popular shows among women are on ABC, as well as seven of the 10 most popular. All of those shows have an audience that is more than 70 percent female. (No. 1 is GREY'S ANATOMY with an audience just under 76 percent female.)
Paul Lee, ABC’s top entertainment executive, has consistently said that ABC should be judged under a different standard — one that excludes sports. “More Americans in the 18-49 category are watching ABC than any other network,” Mr. Lee said, adding “if you take sports out.”
The actress tweeted a photo of herself on set with Skylar Astin, Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss on Tuesday, adding that the actors are, “Gentlemen all!”

Ashlyn Pearce has joined the cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL in the role of Alexandria Forrester.
Alexandria is Thorne's (Winsor Harmon) daughter with the late Darla. Born in 2004, the character will now be aged.
"What a good way to start the day!" Pearce tweeted when the news broke. "Finally being able to say I'll be playing Aly Forrester on The Bold & the Beautiful!"
The show has been looking to cast a 19- to 21-year-old Caucasian actress to play the character described as "Beautiful. Well bred. Very upscale."
Pearce is set to make her BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL debut in mid-November.
