PREVIEW: Alphas Final Season Two Episodes Feauturing Summer Glau

Fans of Summer Glau (TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, FIREFLY) and Syfy’s high-octane hit-series ALPHAS will get a double dose of the actress as she returns as Alpha Skylar Adams in the final two episodes of the season beginning this Monday, October 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The thrilling and shocking second season finale of ALPHAS airs Monday, October 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

SYFY: WAREHOUSE 13 & ALPHAS Return To Mondays; LOST GIRL Moves To Fridays

Syfy’s potent one-two punch of hit series WAREHOUSE 13 and ALPHAS will return to Powerful Mondays beginning Monday, July 23, from 9-11PM (ET/PT).

Starting Friday, July 20, LOST GIRL will move to its new time slot at 10PM (ET/PT).

Season 4 of WAREHOUSE 13, comprising 10 episodes, will premiere at 9PM (ET/PT). The season opens with the team confronting the horrible reality of the Warehouse’s destruction and the tragic loss of Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore), Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) and H.G. Wells (Jaime Murray). With matters so desperate, Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly), Artie (Saul Rubinek) and Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) must decide whether to knowingly use a dangerous artifact for their own personal gain – at the risk of deadly consequences.

ALPHAS Returns July 23; New Season Will Feature Sean Astin, C. Thomas Howell, Lauren Holly

The second season of Syfy's hit series ALPHAS, produced by Universal Cable Productions and BermanBruan Television, returns Monday, July 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with a deep roster of guest stars. New this season are Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Rudy), C. Thomas Howell (SOUTHLAND), Lauren Holly (ALL MY CHILDREN), Steve Byers (Total Recall), Kandyse McClure (BATTLESTAR GALACTICAa) and Noah Reid (Rookie Blue). Returning guest stars include John Pyper-Ferguson (CAPRICA, BROTHERS AND SISTERS) as Stanton Parish, Kathleen Munroe (HAVEN, STARGATE UNIVERSE) as Dani Rosen and Mahershala Ali (TREME, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as Agent Nathan Cley. Summer Glau (DOLLHOUSE, FIREFLY) who was a fan favorite last season playing an Alpha, Skylar Adams, will return for three episodes.

SyFy Summer 2012 Schedule

Featuring a record number of primetime original programming hours, Syfy’s Summer 2012 will be highlighted by new seasons of hits WAREHOUSE 13, FACE OFF, ALPHAS, DESTINATION TRUTH and HAUNTED COLLECTOR.

Syfy will also present a Memorial Day weekend movie festival highlighted by the premiere of Super Shark on May 26th, followed by the semi-annual Twilight Zone marathon on July 4th.

LOST GIRL will move to Fridays at 10 p.m. beginning Friday, July 20.

Anne Hathaway loves British soap EMMERDALE
Anne Hathaway has said she turned to British soap EMMERDALE in an attempt to master a Yorkshire accent for her new film One Day.

"It was really hard," she admitted. "I worked with a dialect coach and in the evenings I watched Emmerdale a lot. It was certainly helpful with the accent, that's for sure."

"EMMERDALE's great," she told the AP at the One Day premiere in London yesterday evening. "We don't have programs like that in America so it was actually quite exotic for me."
