The CW drama Riverdale returned strong on Wednesday night for its Season 2 premiere, doubling the 18-49 audience from its first finale. The overall viewer growth was even larger, with millennials really flocking to the Wednesday episode.Unfortunately, new companion series Dynasty didn't fare as well, debuting to pretty modest numbers.
The CW ranked sixth among broadcast networks in the ratings with a 0.6/2 and fifth in viewers with 1.8 million. Riverdale at 8 returned with a 0.8/3 and 2.3 million viewers. At 9, Dynasty debuted to a 0.4/1 and 1.3 million viewers.
