I watched the entire 1st Season and I can't wait for Season 2!
ReplyDeleteMy only gripe about that trailer is that I wished they'd just use actors to play talk show pundits-- I'm not comfortable with the blurred lines between journalism and entertainment, there's been two much cross fertilization already and I don't like the implications of this.
I saw the original House of Cards when I was a tween (I was oh, so precocious!) and really liked it. This version is quite different, it has a different tenor altogether and the main character drives the action in a much more aggressive way than that of the original but the story in this version is also compelling and the characters are magnetic.
Kevin Spacey--it goes without saying but can I say that I'm loving Mahershala Ali? He is so ruthless but so suave...I'd better not expound on his effect on me (lol).
