Daytime Confidential's Jamey Giddens is reporting that Roger Howarth will bring the character of Todd Manning back ONE LIFE TO LIVE for four weeks to help launch Prospect Park's new version of the show. Once that stint is complete, Howarth will return to GENERAL HOSPITAL where first crossed over in February 2012.Howarth's successful transition to GH helped land him on our Most Fascinating People of 2012 list.
Hope Todd crosses over to OLTL several times. He is tolerable on GH, but he only truly shines in Llanview.

ReplyDeleteI think there are enough people who want to be on OLTL that we won't really miss Todd. To be honest, I'd rather have "Victor" on than Todd. I only hope they do a lot of crossing over of OLTL people to GH because that's the only reason I watch. I have to say the two resident nurses have grown on me as has Carly, AJ, Monica, Alice and Tracy, but those are about the only GL people that I can stand. Once McBain turns into the vampire he stinks. I'm only gonna be watching GL for Todd at that point. And if they have to recast John McBain on OLTL because Michael Easton won't do a crossover I'm going to be uber mad
ReplyDeleteIt feels to me that PP has already continued with the tradition of making OLTL the redhead step child. Why do we have to have GH in a discussion about OLTL? No disrespect to anyone. All the actors have to do is make a token appearance and they then belong to GH. Actors win, RH, ME and KA fans win and once again the viewers of OLTL lose.
ReplyDeleteThe pay for a network show is considerably higher than what Prospect Park can pay I am sure. Since benefits are tied to compensation in all entertainment unions, salary is important.
