THE GLEE PROJECT season two finale airs on Tuesday, August 14th at 10pm ET/PT as the final three contenders – Aylin, Blake and Ali – vie for a seven episode arc on GLEE. Joining the finalists is GLEE series regular Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) who will mentor the contenders through “Glee-ality” week. The competitors will bring everything they have to the stage for their final performances, including their last homework assignment which is “You Can’t Stop The Beat” from “Hairspray.”
NeNe Leakes shot to stardom as a fan favorite on the hit reality show THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA. Recently, Leakes transitioned from reality programming into scripted programming with a breakthrough guest starring role on GLEE in the role of “Coach Roz Washington.” This fall, Leakes will debut as “Rocky” on Ryan Murphy’s new NBC comedy series, “The New Normal,” opposite Ellen Barkin and Justin Bartha. Other television credits include a contestant on the fourth season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” and guest starring roles on “The Game” and “Let’s Stay Together.” Off-camera, Leakes lends her time and energy to various charities including Twisted Hearts, founded by her, that brings awareness to the plight of domestic violence against women of all races.
Emmy®-award winning casting director Robert Ulrich serves as an on-air mentor on THE GLEE PROJECT. Ulrich, the casting director for both THE GLEE PROJECT and GLEE, recently won an Emmy® for Achievement in Casting for a Television Comedy Series, as well as a Casting Society of America (CSA) award for Best Comedy Series. He has also won a Casting Society of America award for Best Comedy Television Pilot for GLEE and a Media Access Award for Casting Actors with Disabilities, and was honored by the No Limits for his contribution to the deaf community.
