At 10 p.m., SMASH matched its most recent performance, pulling a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49. The network earned 3.0 demo rating overall, grabbing 8.9 million viewers.

GOSSIP GIRL climbed two-tenths of a point for a 0.6 in the demo, matching an even HART OF DIXIE at 9 p.m.

From NBC:
SMASH was up versus NBC's time-period average for the season prior to "Smash" by 80 percent in 18-49 and 48 percent in total viewers.

* NBC won Monday in 18-49 for the 11th time in the last 12 weeks that have not featured major sports competition.
