It’s been known for a while that Lieke van Lexmond and Jan Kooijman are leaving GOEDE TIJDEN SLECHTE TIJDEN later this season. How they’re leaving is still a secret, but now we do know who’s going to replace them. Turkish actresses Dilan Yurdakul (21) and Toprak Yalçiner (24), pictured here with executive producer Kennard Bos, are going to play the sisters Aysen and Nuran Baydar.Kennard Bos has not been completely happy with his show during the last couple of years. The town of Meerdijk became too white in his opinion. “The show is actually colorless in its story lines. They’re about love, deceit and emotions. The story of the Baydar sisters won’t be different in that aspect. But it would be ridiculous to deny that I’m happy that they’re Turkish. It was a conscious choice."
The two actresses just filmed their first week of episodes. They’ll debut onscreen at the end of January.
