If you've been a GENERAL HOSPITAL viewer of late, you've noticed that everyone's favorite nickname-loving detective, Damian Spinelli (or the Jackal, as he refers to himself) has teamed up with ace lady lawyer Diane Miller to write a book. Well, that book is going to be published -- not only in the fictional realm of Port Charles, but in real life."The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli" will hit stores on April 5, 2011. Just as you've seen play out on GH, this book is all about the exploits of Spinelli as a private detective. And since it's Spinelli's stories as told to Diane Miller, you can expect a very unique point of view. Filled with mystery and suspense, the book includes never-before-told stories of Port Charles residents -- their confessions and behaviors in times of crises and triumphs through Spinelli's imagination. Jason? Sonny? The Quartermaines? No one in town is spared.
The cool part? Carolyn Hennesy, who plays Diane, actually wrote the book herself. Ms. Hennesy -- who stars on Cougar Town as well as General Hospital -- is the author of a series of children's books about a character named Pandora.
For those who enjoy reading online, The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli will also be available as an ebook or an enhanced ebook, which is an ebook with special bonus features and video clips you can experience while reading.
