Roger/Damon,
ReplyDeleteWill you be interviewing the creators of "In Between Men"?
Absolutely, both Quincy the creator and Nick the lead. Nick was on my radio soap for a few years, a show I did from 2003-2009. He played the best friend of Lucas, played by Derrell Whitt from THE BAY. :)
ReplyDeleteRoger,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. The show has TV level production values. The writing and acting are also very good.
My one question about the show: why are there no men of color in the cast?
Why weren't we allowed to see the results as people were voting? Why the change? It's nice to know that certain soaps might have had a close race but why can't we see the numbers anymore?
ReplyDeleteOnly in recent months did we ever show the results. We changed programs and I actually wasn't sure how to NOT show them. In recent weeks there has been a lot of spamming (like a thousand votes for a show in five minutes) which totally violates what this poll is all about. There's no way to really stop that on the internet but I had a theory that by figuring out how to not display the totals again, as people voted, the spamming would stop. And that's exactly what happened. At least for this week. We'll always keep tweaking it as needed but always want to keep as much integrity as we can knowing it's an internet poll and there are ways around the rules.
ReplyDeleteSoapFan, I will ask that question when I interview Quincy.
ReplyDeleteRoger,
ReplyDeleteThanks!
