EMPIRE creator Greg Turner will be doing a "talk back" with Tina Sloan at the November 16 performance of "Wings" at Second Stage Theatre in New York. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is a one hour drama about a woman who once walked on the wings of airplanes, but is now recovering from a stroke. According to Turner, "It's an oblique parallel at best to Tina's experience, but we're going to discuss women with an incredible spirit to overcome. And we'll talk about aging and other themes in 'Changing Shoes.'"

Sloan will also have copies of her new book, "Changing Shoes," available for purchase and to be signed.
