Earlier this month, We Love Soaps revealed our panel of critics' 50 Greatest Soap Opera Actresses of All Time list. We then asked fans to submit their own lists so that we could create "The Fans Strike Back" countdown. Hundreds of We Love Soaps readers submitted their lists. The results have now been tabulated and the countdown kicked off with 50-46 being revealed on Monday and 45-41 on Tuesday. Today we'll take a look at 40-36.

Wow, I'm surprised to see Jensen Buchanan rate so highly, given the vitriol I always see directed at her on message boards. Personally, I don't think she was a great actress, especially in comparison to Anne Heche, but I found her immensely likable.
