"I haven’t met the new headwriters but I can certainly tell by the scripts that we have new writers because now I find myself looking through the script [and] I’m like what’s coming next? A while ago I wasn’t feeling that reaction. A lot of us were feeling pretty deflated with the material that we were being given. So now we all feel excited."

Lorraine Broderick brought Brooke back to AMC
“[Broderick] had been with the show off and on for thirty years. She knew the show. She knows the characters. I think they decided they were going to move out here and give the show an optimal chance to do well. They needed somebody who could restore some things that were lost. She wrote a story that involved me and they liked it.”

Liza Minnelli joining the cast of UGLY BETTY
The Broadway and Hollywood icon begins work next week and will be appearing in multiple episodes later this season according to Fox411. Minnelli will be playing Lena Korvinka, a high school drama teacher at Justin's school.

B&B's Jennifer Gareis confirms pregnancy
Gareis, and her fiancée Bobby Ghassemieh, are pleased to announce that they are expecting their first child, a boy, in early summer 2010. "It's a very special time in our lives," said Gareis. "Bobby and I would like to thank everyone for all of their support and warm wishes of congratulations."

    While I'm excited about Lainie Kazan coming to Ugly Betty, isn't Bobby Hispanic? Why would he have Italian parents?
