Kentucky girl Chrishell Stause excited about movie screeningThe graduate of Marshall County High School and Murray State University said that, although she won't be able to attend the screening of The Crimson Mask, planned for 6:30 p.m. Friday at The Galt House, having it showcased close to her home is “really, really exciting.”
As for what's next for her character on the popular ABC soap?
“Amanda has some big decisions to make, there's lots of turmoil. Nothing is ever easy in Pine Valley,” Stause said. “She has lots of baby drama going on.”
Regardless of where she's living, Stause says she's a “Kentucky girl ... anything about Kentucky or a fellow Kentuckian, I'm all about it.”
Nnamdi Asomugha Appearing on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTSOakland Raiders Pro Bowl corner Nnamdi Asomugha will apparently appear in an episode of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS this season. Asomugha's role is just a cameo, trying to get a troubled member of Eric Taylor's new team, the East Dillon Lions, back onto the right side of the law. The character in question is Vince, played by Michael B. Jordan.

Next thing I know, my character had a pregnancy and a drug addiction, and I was offered a series regular. I’m still pinching myself because this is so much more than I even thought was possible. I’m also very fortunate that they’ve given Adrianna such real, pressing issues in society, and they deal it with it in such an honest way. I try my hardest. I’m constantly challenged as an actress, because it’s all out of my comfort zone and they’re things I have no experience with."
E4 airs a homage to HOLLYOAKSHOLLYOAKS fans are in for a treat as E4 pays tribute to the Chester-based soap in a special hour-long program. Airing after the fifth and final of the week's HOLLYOAKS LATER episodes, comes HOLLYOAKS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE GORGEOUS, which celebrates some of the more memorable moments in the show's 14-year history. Highlights include Max Cunningham's tragic death, original village villain Rob Hawthorne and the explosive opening sequence from way back in the very first episode.

Iain Martin: Boris Blows It On EASTENDERS
How toe-curling was London Mayor Broris Johnson’s appearance on EASTENDERS last night? Very. The dialogue for his exchange with landlady Peggy Mitchell (played by all round national treasure Barbara Windsor) was beyond stilted, presumably because Boris’s spin-doctors wanted it watered down to avoid the slightest possibility of a gaffe on their man’s part. The Beeb also wanted to avoid giving Boris any room to make an overtly party political point, so hemmed him in with a bland script. Boris doesn’t do bland very well.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Former soap star Randolph Mantooth
Mantooth, who played Hal on AS THE WORLD TURNS and Alex on LOVING among other soap roles, will sign autographs on Oct. 9 as part of the Edgely Fire Company's open house. Mantooth, 64, will be at the station, off Edgely Road at Route 13 in Bristol Township, from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Oct. 9, where he will be signing autographs.
I miss Randy Mantooth on soaps. Does anyone know if he has any interest in doing soaps again?
ReplyDeleteIf he wants to be in NYC, he has already appeared on the two shows that will be remaining. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't happen of course. And there are always indie soaps.
