Grayson started working again today, after being on vacation for like a month! His current storyline will be dropped. The one with Chaunteé (Bonnie) that is. The next 2 weeks they will be taping her 'exit'. She will leave town.
Can't say too much, but mommy has something to do with it! Yes... Jessica will be back!
Today an update was added:
All I can say is that she had her last day at the Studio YESTERDAY!
Today they start taping his new storyline!

O.K. Here we go again! Instead of recasting Bonnie, ATWT dumps her, once again. Will there be any actors of color on the show?
ReplyDeleteATWT and other soaps play this game where they introduce a bunch of characters of color. They aren't sure what to do with them and then they suddenly drop them.
What's become of Jade, Dallas, and Derrick? Jade was brought back on canvas. She found her father. Then abracadabra! Poof! No more Jade or Derrick! Cousin Dallas at the Oakdale police seems to be lost in the armory.
ATWT has been trying to improve itself. But, it seems that improvement might follow a familiar path of dropping its non-white cast. Maybe I'm wrong. But all of this seems very familiar.
I agree with you soapfan. The lack of people of color on this show in this day and age is appalling. It speaks to the utter laziness and parochialism of this show. I've watched ATWT for 35 years but this feeds into my growing sense that maybe its best that it end.
