17 years ago today on GUIDING LIGHT, June 29, 1992, Nick showed up late for his wedding with Mindy, and Alexandra (Beverlee McKinsey) reamed Roger (Michael Zaslow) for not detaining him another day. Elsewhere Harley was busted with stolen jewels (they were doing jewels stories back then too!) and Ed danced with Lillian.
Also on this date 10 years ago, Eric Forrester III was born on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
I love all of the GL characters that I grew up on going to an old fashioned soap wedding. The GL that the clip reflects is the GL I grew up on and the GL I miss... Hamp, Nadine, Jenna Bradshaw, Holly, Mallet.... whatever happened to WSPR? The Springfield newspaper? This is when the show was good.
