News Round-up: Y&R's Mac, Hunley Out, Forsyth In

Clementine Ford cast as Mac on Y&R
TVGuide.com is reporting that Clementine Ford, the eldest child of Cybill Shepherd and a recent cast member of THE L WORD (where she played Molly), is joining THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in the contract role of Mackenzie "Mac" Browning.

INTERVIEW: Y&R's Daniel Goddard & Elizabeth Hendrickson (Cane & Chloe)
Goddard: "I think Cane is heartbroken that Billy is a jerk. When he met the guy, he was over the moon and prepared to do anything he could to get to know him. Then after a while, he crossed the line with Cane. (It's) very much a 'Cain and Abel' conflict and it allows for explosive conflict later."

Leanne Hunley out again at DAYS
Leann Hunley will be leaving DAYS OF OUR LIVES again after rejoining the show in 2007. The actress posted the news in the guestbook of her fan site: "Hello Darlings! I worked my last day on DAYS today and had a good cry over Tony. I got to take my anguish out on Stephano....Hah! Anyway, THANK YOU for all your sweet wishes and support over the last year and a half. I had a wonderful time bringing Anna back to life and will miss 'her' more than just a little. Thank you also for the LOVELY basket of pampering treats...I'm going to take a very long bath...not that I didn't have a really long bath at the DiMera mansion for months on end!

Former CORRIE actress apologizes for 'stolen car' mistake
Denise Welch has apologized for wasting police time after she forgot where her car was parked and reported it as stolen in Cheshire. The former CORONATION STREET actress told viewers of the ITV chat show LOOSE WOMEN on Tuesday that her car had been stolen. On Thursday Welch apologized to police for the mix-up and admitted she was "mortified" by her mistake.

"I am so embarrassed. I just want to apologise to the lovely Cheshire Police for wasting their time and energy because I thought that I'd left it at Macclesfield Station. I was sure," she said on the show. So I reported it to the police because I thought maybe it had been towed away, but it hadn't, so therefore it was stolen. So I've had the police looking at CCTV."
