Cameron Mathison Kicks off Hallmark's Search for America's No. 1 Dancing Dad
Hallmark is inviting dads across the country to participate in its DADDY OF ALL DANCE-OFFS, a light-hearted competition aimed at "moving Dad" through music this Father's Day. The online and multi-city contests give dads of all ages (and dance
ability) a platform to show off their best moves, rocking out to MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This," as featured in one of Hallmark's popular Cards with Sound.

Teaming up with Hallmark is the star of ABC's ALL MY CHILDREN and a top dancing dad in his own right, Cameron Mathison. As a father of two and former contestant on ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS, Mathison hopes to get dads across the country excited about this opportunity to compete. He also will help judge the four finalists in a national dance-off finale to determine the best dancing dad in America.

Marco Island Festival fuels fantasy
More than 25 stars of the longest running soaps, GUIDING LIGHT and AS THE WORLD TURNS, will arrive to sip flutes of bubbly and hang out with visitors at the 10th annual Soapfest. It’s a charity event where fans get to eat, drink play golf and cruise in a boat with their favorite daytime dramatists.

The soap opera is the most effective and enduring broadcast advertising vehicle ever devised, according to The Museum of Broadcast Communications. "It is also the most popular genre of television drama in the world today and probably in the history of world broadcasting: no other form of television fiction has attracted more viewers in more countries over a longer period of time," wrote Robert C. Allen in a museum article.

As husband of soap fan, his 'Guiding Light' is acceptance
"...begrudge or not, I wouldn't want to be the one to tell my wife she won't be spending any more time with the Spauldings, Lewises, Bauers and Coopers of Springfield. Grace is pure-blooded Italian, and you just don't mess with family, where she comes from."
