Digital Spy: The Mitchell world is about to be blown apart with the much-anticipated arrival of the latest member of EASTEMDERS' iconic family. Actor Larry Lamb has joined the cast of the Walford soap as Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell's father, Archie. Archie is charismatic, authoritative, smart and proper old-school London. His arrival will most definitely shed new light on what made Ronnie and Roxy into the women they are and will also provide some new insights into Peggy's history. Being the brother of Peggy's late husband Eric, Archie is someone who Peggy finds very hard to resist.

Javno.hr, Croatia: An ABC soap opera has waded into the controversial subject of teenage sex with a story about the first sexual experience of a 16-year-old girl that parallels the real-life situation of teen idol Jamie Lynn Spears. A producer for daytime soap ONE LIFE TO LIVE said Friday that before Spears announced she was pregnant, the show's writers and producers had already begun planning episodes in which teen character Starr Manning, played by Kristen Alderson, has sex with her 17-year-old boyfriend. "This is something that made sense for our characters," Frank Valentini, the show's executive producer told Reuters. "We certainly don't mean to be sensational but we do feel it's important to introduce contemporary and relevant topics."

College Crier: People go into showbiz for a variety of reasons, but most often for the booty, or the bling, or the ego massage, maybe all three. The omnipresent blitz of merely OK performances is a testament to the existence of actors who are a little too dazzled by the marquee to take a good long look at the script. There have always been people who seem to have been born to walk the boards. You occasionally find them in community theatre. Fortunately, former GUIDING LIGHT star Rachel Miner's community was Broadway.

The people who rescued them taught them all kinds of mental gymnastics that they utilized in their fight against Worldwide Evil Inc. Britain's ITC Network syndicated the 1968 series for the United States.

Digital Spy: Former HOLLYOAKS star Sarah Jayne Dunn will be seen in new Batman movie The Dark Knight. The part played by the actress has not yet been confirmed, but rumours suggest that she will star as The Joker's lover Harley Quinn.
