The WGA West has announced it will hold a general membership meeting to provide an update on the negotiations at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Shrine Auditorium south of downtown Los Angeles. WGA leaders are expected to announce the details of a proposed contract with the majors at that point -- and the reaction from members at the meeting should give guild toppers a strong indication of whether the deal will pass muster in a ratification vote.
