Daily Mail: Is "Coronation Street" about to lose its time slot after 45 years? For many viewers 7.30pm on ITV means one thing: "Coronation Street." But after more than 45 years in the slot, channel bosses are said to be considering changing the show's start time.

Soap Opera Digest: It's been a bittersweet end of the year for "One Life to Live's" Ilene Kristen: Roxy is flirting with a love interest, while Kristen is flying solo after a broken engagement. "I think it will be [love with Miles], but I've got to tell you, I don't really know because we're shooting a lot out of sequence. I've shot some stuff, but it's hard to say where it's exactly going."

Soap Opera Digest: When Harley and Gus decided to divorce on "Guiding Light," Beth Ehlers (Harley) knew she had an onscreen challenge ahead of her. But the biggest surprise came when she discovered the breakup aftershock the script had in store. "Harley was trying to give [Gus] a lot of leash to do what she thought he needed to do, because if she didn't let him explore [a relationship with Natalia], he was going to resent her. I thought it was to come back to Harley."

New York Times: Striking members of the Writers Guild of America East picketed outside of the ABC Daytime studios on the Upper West Side of Manhattan today beginning at 9:15 a.m. (almost an hour earlier than most days) in order to catch audience members who were arriving to see the popular morning talk show “The View.” The West 66th St. studio is also home to the ABC soap opera “All My Children.”

Moviehole: Aimee Teegarden (NBC’s “Friday Night Lights”) is officially attached to star in Velveteen Films’ upcoming feature film “Hickory Nation”.

Austin American-Statesman: "Friday Night Lights" shines on Friday nights. "The national press has put 'Friday Night Lights' in this box of 'We love it, but it's too good for television, and it's never going to work,' " NBC's president of program scheduling, Vince Nevins, said. "But I think they're missing the story. Between the upscale demos, the young demos and the enormous amount of DVR viewing this show attracts, this show is actually starting to work on Friday nights."
