Blair Redford has been cast as the new Miguel on "Passions". Look for him to debut on Christmas Eve. Redford got his start in modeling followed shortly by a win in a WB open call that granted him a seat as a team member of the WB Road Crew. After about a year and a half on the Road Crew he was approached by a talent scout in Atlanta and moved to Los Angeles. After a short time there, he then landed the role of Scott "Scotty" Grainger, Jr. on "The Young and the Restless" in July 2005 but was let go from the soap after only a few months.
COMMENTS: On the surface and in a vein note, this looks like a serious downgrade in terms of looks and body, which "Passions" loves to exploit on a daily basis. Will it be an upgrading in acting talent? Stay tuned.
